Proper 29
One: Blessed be the God of Israel.
All: God has looked favorably on the people and redeemed them.
One: God has raised up a mighty savior for us in the house of David.
All: God has remembered the holy covenant made with our ancestors.
One: A child will be called the prophet of the Most High.
All: The child will be called King,
One: and will give light and guide our feet into the way of peace.
All: Blessed be the God of Israel!
