Litany for All Saints Day

Nov 1, 2015 - All Saints Day lectionary:
One: The earth belongs to God, and all that is in it.
All: God is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
One: And still, God reaches out to wipe away tears from our faces.
All: God cares deeply about each of us.
One: In the Lazarus story, Jesus was deeply moved by Lazarus’ death.
All: Jesus wept.
One: God is Alpha and Omega,
All: God is the beginning and the end. Let us worship God.

Litany for All Saints Day, Year A

One: Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for what is right,
All: for they will be filled.
One: Blessed are the pure in heart,
All: for they will see God.
One: Blessed are the peacemakers,
All: for they will be called children of God.
One: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.
All: Lend to those in need, expecting nothing in return.
All: And show mercy, just as God is merciful. Amen.
