Litany for 10 March 2013

Fourth Sunday in Lent
Call to Worship for 10 March 2013
One: We confess we are at times resentful. Like the older brother in the story of the Prodigal Son, we sometimes begrudge generosity shown to others.
All: We are envious and want the attention for ourselves.
One: Yet God does not count our sins of resentment and envy against us.
All: God, through Christ, gives us a ministry of reconciliation.
One: In Christ there is a new creation! Everything old has passed away;
All: Everything has become new! Praise be to God!
           from Luke 15:1-3, 2 Corinthians 5:17-19
