Proper 20

One: We give our thanks to God.
All: From the beginning of time, God has provided for us.
One: In Genesis, God provided food in abundance to the first humans.
All: In the wilderness, God gave the Israelites quail and holy manna.
One: God opened a rock and made water to gush out for them in the desert.
All: God provides seed for the farmer.
One: And like the owner of the vineyard, who gave a full day's wages to each laborer,
All: God is generous! We sing praise to God!
Psalm 105, Matthew 20:1-16

One: We bow down in your holy temple and give you thanks, O God,
