Litany for Proper 15 (August 16, 2026)
One: Jesus reaches out to those in need, even across cultural barriers,
All: By speaking with the woman at the well
One: By healing the Canaanite Woman's daughter,
All: By teaching of the love of the Good Samaritan.
One: So, too, we ask that our hearts be opened to any who are in need.
All: And that our minds be opened to people who are different from us.
All: Embolden us to dare to throw open our doors for all to enter!
