Litany for Epiphany, Year C

Call to Worship:
One: God is with us always,
All: To the end of the age!
One: God calls us each to use our gifts for the common good.
All: We have a variety of gifts, but the same Spirit.
One: We have a variety of ways we can serve, but the same God.
All: God is with us always. Let us worship God.

          from 1 Corinthians 12:1-27

Litany for Epiphany, Baptism of the Lord - Year A

One: We remember the story of Jesus' baptism, when the heavens were opened to him,
All: And he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.
One: When the voice from heaven said,
All: "This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased."
One: We remember the many times Jesus went out to quiet places to pray,
All: With Jesus as our example, we pray that we may learn to open our souls,
that we might know God's touch in our own lives. Amen.
                 From Matthew 3:13-17
