Call to Worship from scripture for Year C Proper 7 and Year A Proper 17

One: God, you send forth your Spirit,

All: And it is as if a great wind rushes through our gathering,

One: We feel the presence of your Holy Spirit among us, with us,

All: We feel your Holy Spirit calling us, guiding us, encouraging us,

One: Calling on us to live in harmony with one another,

All: Encouraging us not to be haughty, to welcome all,

One: Guiding us to live peaceably with all.

All: We prepare our hearts to listen for your Spirit.
