Litany for the Third Sunday of Easter, 2015

Call to Worship for Third Sunday of Easter, Year B
One: Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."
All: They were startled and terrified, and thought that they were seeing a ghost.
One: He said to them, "Why are you frightened, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet; see that it is I myself. Touch me and see;
All: Yet, in their joy they were still disbelieving and wondering.
One: Then, in their presence he ate and he opened their minds to understand the scriptures.
All: Let us open our hearts and minds to worship God. Amen.
             From Luke 24:36b-48
