Call to Worship - 17 Feb 2013
One: Jesus was hungry, and was tempted to eat, but instead he quoted scripture saying,
All: “One does not live by bread alone.”
One: Jesus felt the temptation to seek power and glory, but again he remembered the scripture,
All: “Worship the Lord your God, serve God alone.”
One: Jesus was tempted to test how far God would protect him, but instead he reminded himself,
All: “Do not put the Lord your God to the test.”
All: Let us also turn from our temptations and seek God.
