Proper 22, Year A

One: Restore us, O God of hosts; let your face shine on us.
All: You brought a vine out of Egypt and planted it.
One: You cleared the ground for it, and it took deep root and filled the land.
All: The mountains were covered with its shade, the mighty cedars with its branches;
One: It sent out its branches to the sea, and its shoots to the River.
All: Restore us, O God of hosts, that we too might flourish. Amen.
