Call to Worship
L: God is a stronghold in times of trouble,
P: a stronghold for all who are needy or oppressed.
L: Yahweh does not forget the cry of the afflicted,
P: nor forsake those who seek help.
L: Sing praises to God, who dwells in Zion.
All We sing praises to God! Alleluia!

L: It is good to give thanks to the Lord.
P: We give thanks with the music of the lute and the harp!
L: For in God, all things are possible! Even a shepherd can be anointed king!
P: And a carpenter can bring light to the world.
L: Sing praises to the Most High!
P: We sing praises with the music of the lyre.
All: Praise be to God! Alleluia!
