Call to Worship
L: O God, you have been our dwelling place, 
P: In all generations.
L: Even as Jesus healed those who were sick or possessed with demons,
P: You reach out today to comfort us and bring us healing.
L: Before the mountains were brought forth,
P: Or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
L: From everlasting to everlasting, 
All: You are God. Amen.

L: O give thanks to God.
P: We are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses.
L: By faith Noah, warned by God about events as yet unseen, respected the warning and built an ark to save his household.
P: God’s steadfast love endures forever.
L: By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to set out for a place that he was to receive as an inheritance.
P: We give thanks to God.
L: By faith Moses left Egypt, unafraid of the pharaoh’s anger.
P: By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as if it were dry land.
All: We are indeed surrounded by a great a cloud of witnesses! Thanks be to God!

L: God has been our dwelling place in all generations.

L: And as God commanded Moses, God commands us today: to be just in our judgements,
P: Not to profit by the blood of our neighbors,
L: Not to hate or take vengeance,
P: But to love our neighbor as ourselves.
